Ragtime Piano Master
Class with Sue Keller at the former home of Scott Joplin in St. Louis. The
master class consists of 1/2 hour sessions with Sue Keller which begin in the
morning and continue into the afternoon after lunch. Bring your family, bring
your friends, and/or just come yourself, watch, and take notes with your video
camera if you wish. Please call and reserve a time-slot if you're interested in
participating as the number of available time-slots are limited.

Ragtime Rally with Sue
Keller and friends at the former home of Scott Joplin in St. Louis. A variety
of ragtime musicians will highlight music by women composers as well as their
traditional male counterparts. Educational programs, a silent auction, historic
cars, a mechanical music display and more will be featured at the event which
runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Overdose on Ragtime. At the Scott Joplin International Ragtime Festival
with Sue Keller, Artistic Director. This is the largest and most prestigious
ragtime festival in the world and is held in the very town where Scott Joplin
lived, worked, and wrote the Maple Leaf Rag. All paid concerts this year will
to be held at the Liberty Center. Free outdoor venues operate by day, every
day, all over town. The Ragtime Dance will be held on Friday, June 6th at the
MEC Building on the Fairgrounds. Join Sue with all of the usual suspects: Mimi
Blais, Jeff and Ann Barnhart with Danny Coots, Brian Holland, Dave Majchzrak,
Dave Tucker, Dave Reffkin, John Petley, Adam Swanson, Adam Yarian, Brett
Youens, Bill Edwards, Bryan Wright, Jim Radloff, Steve Standiford, Susan
Cordell. Plus a bunch of folks that we haven't seen in a while: The Royal
Guitars from Denmark, Kjell Waltman from Sweden, Neville Dickie and Philip
Dyson from the great and once all-powerful land of UK, the Sunflower Orchestra
under the direction of Steve Smith, and Mike Schwimmer. Also, this year, the
Ragtime Rebels, a marimba and xylophone band from University of Nevada, Las
Vegas will be joining us for the first time... and a host of others.... last
year there were a total of over 135 piano players and other musicians on the
bill!
